Safety first -  It is strongly advised that you use Common Safety Sense when dealing with these or any household cleaning products and chemicals. Wear, Safety glasses, Gloves, and use a mask if needed. And always keep the area well ventilated while working, by opening a window or using a fan. Remember to keep these and other chemical products out of the reach of children. Safety is everyone's responsibility. Use safety measures in the home and the work place.

User responsibility- Always do a test area to determine if these products are suitable for your needs.  Do test area first to determine colorant color, adherence and cleanup methods needed. wait 1 hour for results. Again It is the responsibility of the customer and or end user to determine whether or not the use of these products is suitable for their purpose and needs.

For newly installed grout - That has not been sealed before, and is still clean, It is not necessary to use any Sealer removers, Acidic or Alkaline cleaners.

For Grout that has been sealed before - Use our GDC Grout Sealer remover.

If you are not sure that your grout was sealed - Try this test - Pour some water on your grout, if the grout stays the same color or the water beads up (like when you wax your car), then it was probably sealed. Use the GDC Sealer Remover. If the grout changes color, gets darker or the water absorbs into the grout then your grout is still pourus and probably has not been sealed. Then you do not have to use the Sealer Remover product.

If your grout is dirty - Use our GDC Pre Treat Cleaner. This product will clean the grout and also open the pours of the grout so the colorant penetrates deeper.

If your grout is Sealed and Dirty - Use our GDC Sealer Remover, let dry, then use our GDC Pre Treat Cleaner.

If Wax is in your grout - From using wax product like Mop & Glow or Murphy's oil soap, then it must be removed before Color Sealing, Use our GDC Grout Sealer Remover for this.

Repair any missing or cracked grout -  It is recommended that you repair and missing or cracked grout before Color Sealing. You can put in any color grout that you have. It will not matter, because the GDC Epoxy Grout Colorant will make all of the grout one even color. If you have sanded grout (very rough) then you should do your repairs with a sanded grout. If you have unsanded grout (smooth) than you should do your repairs with a unsanded grout.  Let the repair "cure" for 7 days before applying the colorant
